Dave Martin

Born and raised in Toronto, Dave Martin began comedy in 1996 and believes anything can be made funny if approached at the right angle. In 1999 Dave performed at the Late Night Danger Zone at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and also had his one man show in the Toronto Fringe Festival. In 2001 Dave received his own hour-long stand-up comedy Special for "Comedy Now" on CTV and The Comedy Network. In 2003 the National Film Board of Canada filmed a documentary on Toronto stand-up comics called “The Next Big Thing” in which Dave was featured. In 2004 Dave performed stand-up on "The Toronto Show".Dave has also had numerous appearances on Laugh Attack on XM Satellite Radio & C.B.C/ Sirius Satellite Radio. Dave is a regular Yuk Yuk's performer from the East to West Coast. In 2008 he made it to the Toronto finals on "Last Comic Standing" on NBC.

Derek Thompson

Derek Thompson is an actor, writer and comedian and a member of the sketch troupe The Riot Act. Derek has worked as a contributing writer on Open Mike with Mike Bullard and has been doing alternative stand-up around town for a number of years. Currently he can be seen on as a Co-Host of Hockeyville on CBC.

Some of Derek's Film and Television credits include The Kids In The Hall, Elvira's Adventures In Comedy, Hacks, Sketchcom, CBC's COMICS! and ABC's Good Morning America. Derek was also in the film Ham and Cheese, hosted the show Unconventional and appeared on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

Derek has an intense quality that is engaging combined with a surreal comedic sensibility.

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, by a British professor and a British grade one teacher, Andy Boorman has always had a unique perspective on the world.
Andy has taken his live comedy to stages throughout Canada, and was honoured to perform on Andy Kindler’s Alternative Show at the 2001 Just for Laughs festival in Montreal. He was also a nominee for the prestigious Tim Sims Award in 2001, for best up and coming comedic talent.
Andy has numerous film and television credits, including The Jane Show, Tilt, and G-Spot. He has also written, directed and acted in several short films, some of which can be seen on Ifilm.com , and the Comedy Network. He is adept at both dramatic and comedic roles, and has a distinct voice for radio and animation.
Andy considers himself to be constantly evolving, and up to new challenges. He is also a super guy! And neato!
